Secretary of State for the Environment visits One Bedford Avenue

We were pleased to welcome Elizabeth Truss, Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs to the site of One Bedford Avenue where the construction of our new landmark West End mixed use building has just commenced following the completion of demolition in August.

As part of the Grown in Britain initiative we are proud to showcase our construction site at One Bedford Avenue and are delighted to be using British timber wherever possible among a plethora of other locally sourced materials.

It is very important for us to know where our demolition material goes and where each and every one of our construction materials are sourced, this allows us to ensure responsible and environmental best practice is safeguarded throughout our supply-chain. The Secretary of State was particularly interested to see the British materials are utilised in a real world situation and shared our excitement of how our building and Tottenham Court Road will evolve.

We’re grateful to the Secretary of State for making her time available to visit us.
