Daniel is a founding Director of Exemplar and shares overall responsibility for the company’s commercial and residential developments with business partner Clive Bush. Daniel was educated at Harrow and began his career at Richard Ellis in the City of London, first in agency before moving to specialise in corporate real estate. He joined Development Securities plc in 1995 where he focused on Central London commercial development, until moving to establish Exemplar in 2003. In his time Daniel has won numerous awards including Young Property Personality of the Year. He is Vice-Chairman of the Westminster Property Association.
Daniel has two young children and outside of the office enjoys mostly any activity involving water, in particular being a keen yachtsman and water-skier. Closer to home, he is an avid backgammon player.

Following a Master’s Degree from Aberdeen, Mark began his career at MEPC where he specialised in the development and asset management of out-of-town office space. He then moved to British Land, where he became a Director involved with mixed use, office and distribution units. In 2005 Mark joined Exemplar and has led a number of our major projects including extensive refurbishments, new build office projects and mixed use developments.
Mark is married with three children.

John was Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle's English business and was a Partner/Director there for 30 years. He spent five years in the 1980s in Hong Kong and Tokyo before returning to London for the City development boom of the late 1980s. Having played a key role in attracting overseas investors to London, John set up the firm's West End investment team in the 1990s. He now holds a range of non-executive public and private company real estate roles. John advises the business at Board level on overall strategy.
John enjoys family time, London life and visiting new places in the UK and abroad. John's interests include cycling, Gloucester Rugby, biographies, theatre and wine.

Richard started his career in the real estate team at Shell UK and, following professional qualification, joined MEPC. Richard undertook a variety of roles which have provided extensive experience in the management, marketing and leasing of commercial space. Richard then joined Grainger plc, the UK’s largest publicly quoted Residential Landlord with responsibility for the delivery of a range of residentially led mixed use projects in London. Richard joined Exemplar in June 2011 to lead the design and delivery of the Fitzroy Place development.
Richard lives near Oxford with his wife and young son. He enjoys golf, skiing and the outdoors.

Tom graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Architecture followed by a Masters in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School. Tom started his career at Jones Lang LaSalle where he gained experience in development consultancy within central London moving to the Corporate Finance team where he had responsibility for company disposals, acquisitions, joint ventures and equity raising. Tom joined Exemplar in August 2011 as Development Manager.
Outside of work Tom enjoys cycling, sailing and snowboarding.

Clive started his career as a Surveyor with Hiller Parker in the early nineties, before moving onto senior roles at City & West End and MPEC. He then spent four years at Development Securities where he was Head of New Business and ran the South East & London teams.
Outside the world of property, Clive enjoys skiing and is an avid sailor, a passion which he combines with the demands of family life.

Campbell spent 14 years at Watts Group plc, a leading European Building Consultancy as a Director and Main Board Member. He worked on schemes involving many leading UK developers and funders and gained experience in western and central Europe. Campbell has overall responsibility for construction activity throughout the company and also for environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Michael is a Property graduate and Finance post-graduate from Massey University in New Zealand. Michael’s career began with four years’ in agency practice specialising in development land before moving into the field of commercial development and asset management. Michael then moved to Gort Securities in London as an Asset/Portfolio Manager for a private investment vehicle. Michael joined Exemplar in 2005 and has since run a number of its major development projects in joint-venture with investment banks and institutional funds.
Michael is married with a daughter and enjoys skiing, tennis and following his beloved world champion All Blacks rugby team.

After graduating from Reading University, Maxwell started his career at Drivers Jonas where he spent 5 years working in the Investment & Development teams. He then moved to Countryside Properties working in the Strategic Land & Commercial Development team responsible for delivering various commercial projects across London and the South East. At Exemplar, Maxwell is responsible for delivering a number of the commercial development projects as well as sourcing and assessing new opportunities.
Maxwell is married with a baby daughter and enjoys skiing, sailing, rugby and travelling to new places as often as possible.

Moira gained a degree in Accounting and Finance from Leeds and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in a large regional practice. Following positions as senior audit manager and director in London, she moved out of practice into the property industry in 2001 when she became the group financial controller and company secretary of Merivale Moore plc. Moira joined Exemplar in 2005 with responsibility for all accounting, financial, tax and company secretarial matters.
In her spare time Moira sings with a local choral society, enjoys hiking and cycling and is a keen gardener.
