Cambridge Science Park is perhaps the most successful research and development park in Europe and is located just over two miles from Cambridge city centre.
101 Cambridge, which sits at the entrance of Cambridge Science Park is owned by Hermes, and in May 2006 they selected Exemplar as their development partner to investigate the redevelopment potential of the site. Exemplar quickly secured planning consent for a new 90,000 sq ft three storey landmark office and research facility and construction is now well underway. The building, designed by architects Scott Brownrigg, will provide flexible floorplates of circa 30,000 sq ft upon completion, scheduled for June 2008.
