Inspired is an 85,000 sq ft headquarters building on two levels built around a central atrium and includes undercroft car parking.
In a joint venture with Schroders, Exemplar undertook a comprehensive £9m refurbishment of the building including upgrading the vacant floors to Grade A standard with VAV air-conditioning, raised floors, suspended ceilings and LG3/LG7 compliant lighting. The cores were reconfigured to provide improved flexibility.
Works to the common parts included a new main entrance and the development of the courtyard into a covered atrium incorporating new lifts, stair and toilet cores. The reconfiguration of these cores improve the building’s flexibility and focus attention to the atrium.
The development completed on schedule in January 2008 and is now available to let.
