Exemplar Properties and UBS Triton Property Fund completed the purchase of Milton Gate, 1 Moor Lane in July 2005 at a price of £47.5m. The property comprised 165,000 sq ft of offices on ground and six upper floors.
Exemplar undertook an extensive £31m refurbishment of this iconic Sir Denys Lasdun building which completed in September 2007, to a category A specification. The works include a new entrance, a reconfigured atrium and additional office space totalling 35,000 sq ft, created by extending a number of the floorplates. The building was let in it’s entirety to Addelshaw Goddard, for 16.5 years at £53.50 per sq ft in March 2008.
