Following an international competition undertaken within the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Exemplar was appointed exclusive development partner by the Canadian Government to source and secure for them a new Chancery (Embassy) for them in London.
The project had two distinct phases; firstly Exemplar were charged with locating, securing and developing a new state-of-the-art Chancery facility within Central London and secondly, once the new Chancery had been completed, to redevelop their existing building in Grosvenor Square, ensuring best value and maximum return for the Canadian Government and people. A preferred site was selected in close proximity to the Mall and Trafalgar Square, and initial plans were drawn up in conjunction with signature architects Dixon Jones. Regrettably the project is on hold due to austerity measures.
