Richmond Riverside is a true mixed use scheme comprising office, retail, residential and leisure space totalling 160,000 sq ft. In partnership with JP Morgan, Exemplar purchased the development in September 2008. Underlying the asset was income from a diverse range of tenants and opportunities were presented through rent reviews, lease re-gearing, intensive estate management and improvement through a rolling refurbishment programme. Regular focus meetings with our occupiers give us the understanding needed to enhance their status and footing. Understanding both the obvious and hidden synergies between the various uses has ensured tenant retention and attraction, and through this we are experiencing rental growth.
